Description

Dear admins,

Seems Chinese characters on https://counter.opensuse.org/wide.zh.png
does not rendered correctly. I thought it caused by the font, can
anyone change it?

Thanks a lot.

I can't do anything here. It depends on the machine where this is rendered I guess. Assign to victorhck to check if it works on his local checkout.

I get the image rederd in my PC in a different way

http://susepaste.org/45495665

I don't render the files. I think that it's the server who does it.

maybe we can remover the location for "Linux for open minds" that I get a bad renders... but still don't know if it's enough.

which fonts are you using? just to make sure they are also installed on the VM.

Good job!

About "Linux for open minds", please see here:

https://github.com/openSUSE/countdown.o.o/blob/master/render.py#L336

Maybe it's the reason why this line cannot be rendered correctly.
Chinese characters should use utf-8, but I'm not a expert, just guess. IDK.

What are the specifications of the machine that does the rendering? Could you give fabian access to debug it?

It is a VM on my own hetzner server where the SSH port currently is not reachable from the outside. the VM also hosts planet.

i mean we should know which fonts are required no?

Hi, there!

Just install 'google-droid-fonts' can make it alright.
