Motivation¶
#178102 has shown problems in the logic. We prevent too frequent submissions in https://github.com/os-autoinst/scripts/blob/master/os-autoinst-obs-auto-submit#L183
but we don't look if the last submissions had been created too far in the past
Acceptance criteria¶
- AC1: os-autoinst-obs-auto-submit creates new submissions or superseedes existing ones if the last SR creation is too far in the past
Suggestions¶
- Look into https://github.com/os-autoinst/scripts/blob/master/os-autoinst-obs-auto-submit and consider an upper threshold when throttling to force submissions, e.g. as long as submissions more recent than 3 days exist do not submit but if last submission is older than 10 days force submit
