Description
Motivation¶
Based on discussion in https://suse.slack.com/archives/C02CANHLANP/p1737537012140169
On the group overview pages by default we only show the version if there are builds for different versions, e.g. last build of SP$N and first build of SP$N+1. There are use cases where multiple versions are tested in parallel or people might simply prefer to always have the version deployed. We should optionally allow to always show the version
Acceptance criteria¶
- AC1: group overview pages always show the version in the build string depending on configuration
- AC2: It's still possible to keep the old behaviour depending on configuration
Suggestions¶
- Look into the existing behaviour when we already show the version and extend that based on configuration
- Consider a URL parameter to always show the version and/or checkbox in the job group settings
