Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: the team knows that every alerts must be explicitly handled
  • AC2: the team knows how to prevent alerts, e.g. on OS upgrades

Suggestions

  • Ensure everybody is aware of our documented alert handling procedure
  • Discuss the alert handling procedure within the team

Many of them caused by worker upgrades[0]. upgrade

I could prevent this by running

systemctl disable --now auto-update.timer salt-minion telegraf

during the upgrade

Checking at least the last 12h the warnings are resolved and the rest of the workers continue to update without monitoring. closing
