Description

Motivation

Some consider our current Acceptance criteria hard to understand.
Discuss if we want to use Cucumber Gherkin definitions at least for some tickets.

Acceptance Criteria

  • AC1: Team discussed if we want to use it

Suggestions

  • Read https://cucumber.io/docs/gherkin/reference/
  • Try to use it for a couple of tickets, maybe even side by side and compare
  • Conduct an estimation call where we try this out
  • Use it for acceptence tests? Some examples where we already used the gherkin format are #154240, #162641
  • Write new tests based on the Gherkin in the ticket?

I proposed the use of the suggested format and have also used it myself. I added a suggestion in https://progress.opensuse.org/projects/openqav3/wiki/Wiki/diff?utf8=%E2%9C%93&commit=View+differences&version=309&version_from=308 in explanations for the feature request ticket templates.
