Motivation

Based on comment#8 of this ticket, there will be no Leap15.7, so no need to test migration from Leap to SLES15SP7. So remove the migration testsuites of Leap to SLES from Migration daily group:

  • migr_leap_gnome
  • migr_leap_kde
  • migr_leap_textmode

Acceptance criteria

AC1 : Remove above listed migration testsuites of Leap to SLES for 15 SP7 testing.

Hi Lubos, we are now working on Leap 15.7 to sles15.7 migration test, and found there's no opensuse-15.7 image, so do you know when'll have leap 15.7 image ready for test and in which O3 group? thanks!

we'll only have Leap 16.0

For Leap 16.0 it will be very tricky

so for sles15.7 there'll no leap to sle migration?
you could probably still migrate from 15.6
but, you're correct since there is no Leap 15.7, there is no need to test migration > sceanario from Leap to SLES 15 SP7

we'll want to test it for 16.0 for sure
in fact it would be nice to start working on that
but we have to have a tool to :slightly_smiling_face:

well somebody has to write it first :slightly_smiling_face:
SUSE insistend on Leap 16.0 to use SLES binaries .
specifically Matthias Eckermann, and now PM decided to drop yast completely
yast was used to perform the migratoin from Leap to SLES ... what can I say
