Motivation

From the SUSE QE Tools workshop session 2024-06-14 "How to run openQA when all you have is a browser" suggestions came up to extend the concept of http://open.qa/docs/#_openqa_in_a_browser and provide a deeper IDE integration and also tailored environments based on github codespaces or equivalent soultions, e.g.

  • one for os-autoinst+openQA developers providing development tooling for os-autoinst and openQA itself
  • one for test distributions which provides common test contributors tooling, e.g. perltidy, etc.
