Description

In the SUSE internal ticket https://sd.suse.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/SD-128488, in case you have access, the external IPv6 access to openqa.opensuse.org was fixed. With that in place can you please add an according AAAA record and reverse-PTR for the domain openqa.opensuse.org pointing to 2a07:de40:b251:2:10:150:2:10 in the DNS server configuration.

Hi,

forward record added:

crameleon@chip:/home/crameleon> EDITOR=$(which vim) sudo -E pdnsutil edit-zone opensuse.org
[sudo] password for crameleon:
Checked 365 records of 'opensuse.org', 0 errors, 0 warnings.
Detected the following changes:
+openqa.opensuse.org 1800 IN AAAA 2a07:de40:b251:2:10:150:2:10

You have not updated the SOA record! Would you like to increase-serial?
(y)es - increase serial, (n)o - leave SOA record as is, (e)dit your changes, (q)uit: y
(a)pply these changes, (e)dit again, (r)etry with original zone, (q)uit: a
Adding NSEC ordering information for zone 'opensuse.org', 9 updates

Unfortunately, we do not maintain the reverse zone for this IP address, I fear I have to send you back to where you came from to get the other half of your request done. :-)

Best,
Georg

P.S.: In case it is helpful in the future,`whois <IPv6 address> usually gives a hint if IPv6 address space (and the relevant reverse DNS) is maintained by SUSE IT or openSUSE Heroes. With IPv4 it's not so obvious, those are always listed with SUSE regardless of the delegation, but one can dig -x <IPv4 address> and see if it returns a CNAME.
