Observation¶
openQA test in scenario opensuse-5.8.90-Krypton-Live-x86_64-krypton-live@64bit-2G fails after the step
kate#7. Looking at the video will reveal the error
Problem¶
Regardless of the real problem here which is a product issue (or rather o.o infrastructure) there are some problems visible in the screenshot:
- There are xterm fragments, maybe a problem introduced by VNC in Leap 42.2 after worker upgrade (see #14950)
- The timeout scale of 8 is so big that the screen will lock within one cycle of check_screen
- the proceed prompt is shown but it is not checked for after the initial try. It should still be explicitly looked for and the test should die in that case

PR merged as well as a followup as I did not achieve good success with only the first one: https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/2224
Also I set the 'TIMEOUT_SCALE' to 1 as it seems to be enough now. So maybe live cd's are not that slow (anymore?).
