closedNeed admin rights for kubic.o.o since microos.o.o is broken
0%
Description
kubic.o.o (which is also hosting microos.o.o) has some technical problems with the webpage, and to fix that, we need admin access on that machine. Normally Richard Brown is the admin, but for some unknown reasons his account isn't working anymore (see https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/152797).
To avoid the situation that there is nobody left who can fix the machine, please give me admin right, so that I can acct as backup for Richard.

Hi,
it seems the machine uses legacy LDAP instead of Salt managed sudo rules.
Will need to check if we can add you there or if it needs to be corrected first.

Does not work:
kukuk@kubic:/home/kukuk> sudo -i
[sudo] password for kukuk:
kukuk is not in the sudoers file.

Ok, then it is a bit more work, will try to do it soon.
I wonder how this possibly worked for @RBrownSUSE, as I do not recall the LDAP variant to have been configured anywhere in the last years. This seems to explain it:
kubic (kubic.o.o):~ # grep -Ev '^#|^$' /etc/sudoers.d/rbrownsuse-workaround
rbrownsuse ALL=(ALL) ALL
Which seems to be a "temporary workaround" implemented 5 years (sic!) ago: https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/40019.
