Motivation¶

After we merged the MR from #151272 we observed some failures in openQA. They can be classified in 2 categories

Installation tests tha are no longer needed¶

According to Jose Lausuch "About installation, there is no installation any more. Even Agama is out of the picture for SLE Micro 6.0", so the following testsuites are no longer needed:

• slem_extensions_and_modules
• slem_installation_autoyast
• slem_installation_default
• slem_installation_default@uefi-virtio-vga
• slem_ssh_installation_target

Wrong SCC_PROXY_URL in migration tests¶

In the migration tests the setting SCC_PROXY_URL is defined as http://micro-%BUILD_ISO%.proxy.scc.suse.de, but there is no setting BUILD_ISO.
This has to be changed to http://micro-%BUILD%.proxy.scc.suse.de.

The only migration path need to be checked at the moment is 5.5->6.0, all other migration tests from SLE Micro versions before 5.5 can be removed.

SLE Micro / Yast and Migration jobgroup (ID=510)

Acceptance criteria¶

• AC1: All no longer needed installation tests are removed.
• AC2: All no longer needed migration tests are removed.
• AC3: The SCC_PROXY_URL setting is now http://micro-%BUILD%.proxy.scc.suse.de.
