Description

Hello,

I sent two e-mails to election-officials@opensuse.org and received the message below:

Your message to the Election Officials mailing-list was rejected for the following
reasons:

Header "x-spam-status: No, score=-2.1 required=5.0 tests=DKIM_SIGNED,DKIM_VALID,
    DKIM_VALID_AU,HTML_MESSAGE,MAILING_LIST_MULTI,RCVD_IN_DNSWL_MED,
    RCVD_IN_ZEN_BLOCKED_OPENDNS,RDNS_NONE,SPF_HELO_NONE autolearn=disabled
    version=3.4.5" matched a header rule

From the openSUSE Bar Telegram group, I read another person encountered the issue when sending e-mail to the election-officials@o.o address.

The Board Election 2023 having been announced, we are expecting members wishing to run for this election will be sending their candidature on the mailing list.

Grateful if the issue could be investigated.

Hi Ishwon,
that header does not look like anything was categorised as spam - "No, score=-2.1". However, it looks like mailman has a rule for it. I'll look into it.

Found it - please don't use HTML formatting.

Ah. Thanks.
Previously, when sending HTML emails to the list, it would clearly warn so.
This time showing the header and saying header rule matched was a bit ambiguous.

Thanks for pointing to it.

Actually I have a similar issue when sending to factory:
factory@lists.opensuse.org
host mx1.opensuse.org [195.135.221.175]
SMTP error from remote mail server after pipelined end of data:
550 5.7.1 Spam identified (5.1/5.0)
Plain text mail with signature

5.1 vs 5.0 - any chance you forgot to change the subject?

I agree, there is room for improvement.
