Description
we will switch the SLES 15 SP3 base image to LTSS. The image will be run in parallel (ltss and non-ltss)
For now the new LTSS image is in SUSE:SLE-15-SP3:Update:CR sles15-ltss-image
We should setup the CRB. Possibly we would need to add authorization for registry.suse.com
Acceptance criterum¶
- Setup a new image to the container release bot (see e.g. https://gitlab.suse.de/qac/container-release-bot/-/merge_requests/181 for a template)
- Perform a test run to ensure the BCI tests are working
- If needed, add implementation for required SCC registration. This might be needed when pulling the container from registry.suse.com
Notes¶
- new label (suse/ltss/.... )
- registry.suse.com would only serve when authorized and enabled for SCC
- not sure about BCI repo, will likely switch to only use LTSS repos?

https://gitlab.suse.de/qac/container-release-bot/-/merge_requests/198 already enabled the 15-SP3 ltss base images.
The missing part is still the registration. For the ltss container, we need to register towards registry.suse.de via podman login using the credentials of a SCC LTSS registration. We need to establish this workflow.
