Motivation¶
Following the updated test matrix (see draft redesign matrix), we need to create support image via autoyast with all patterns on for SLES 15 SP5.
The steps:
Follow the test matrix to get the needed qcow list (for this ticket the row with for all patterns with note: no module selection)
Note:
Both textmode and gnome test scenarios included in updated test matrix, so need create two kinds of qcows for textmode and gnome.(check test matrix for detail).
minimal qcow excluded from this ticket, it was already done in other ticket.
Create support images in this new job group.
Acceptance criteria¶
AC1: Create support image via autoyast with default modules and all patterns on SLE 15 SP5.
AC2: Create/modify configuration for running corresponding migrations

Sorry for delay, I fail to understand what images need to be created by looking at the test matrix, I am not familiar with it: are the empty cases the ones that need to be added, or is it the contrary ? In which job groups are these tests planned ? Which migrations are already using a support image ? Why are there 3 different rows for "SLE15SP5/basesys-srv-python3/Text mode" ? I cannot deduct what is my task from this data, hopefully we can talk about it after the next daily meeting.
Additionally, there is already sled15sp5_install_all_patterns_x86_64, but it misses some patterns: it has 24 patterns, but there are 38 patterns available on sle15sp5 GM x86_64.
I will just do the same as in https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/135680 with added patterns for now, hopefully that will be correct.

You can refer to https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/135680, the difference is your ticket is for all patterns. Publish 3 qcows (power VM is an exception, installation with chained jobs). Note, the PR https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/17800 use default partition but it is not expected for migration test, we need do not set home folder in partition to avoid space issue.
