closedExtend ALP-Micro coverage according to SLE-Micro
0%
Description
As of now we have few images being synced into openQA.
We need to provide the same test coverage as there is already for SLE-Micro images.
Especially, we need to replicate the same test coverage as we have for the Default-sle-micro flavor to ALP.
The current sle-micro setup can be found in our test group repo [1]
List of currently synced images in openQA
ALP-Micro.aarch64-1.0-Default-Build4.1.raw.xz
ALP-Micro.x86_64-1.0-Default-Build4.1.raw.xz

Just a few tips on how this problem could be addressed (there are many ways, this is just a suggestion!)
- Create a new job group on your own openQA instance
- Based on https://gitlab.suse.de/qac/qac-openqa-yaml/-/blob/master/sle-micro/latest.yaml and https://gitlab.suse.de/qac/qac-openqa-yaml/-/blob/master/alp/container_host.yaml create the job group definitions on that instance
- Ensure that you have the required assets copied to your own instance (typically into
/var/lib/openqa/factory/hdd
) - just download them from OSD therein. - Schedule test runs using
openqa-cli ... iso post
(See https://openqa-bites.github.io/openqa/openqa-cli-cheat-sheet/ for a quick cheat-sheet)
And modify the job group settings, until something sensible comes out. Then create a new yaml file and push it to https://gitlab.suse.de/qac/qac-openqa-yaml/-/blob/master/alp/
As said there are many ways, this should just give you a direction in case you don't know where and how to start :-)

So far I extend the with SELinux test suit & SELinux container host.
I tried to run the ALP-Micro aarch64 image, but it won't boot.

- Status changed from Blocked to Rejected
Not needed anymore as ALP is deprecated.
