Description
Observation¶
openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-apparmor_profile:investigate:retry@64bit fails in
usr_sbin_smbd
This test has been failing recurrently and then working after re-trying one or more times. It'd be appreciated if you can take a look and check how to make it more robust.
Test suite description¶
Maintained by QE Security
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build (current job)
Expected result¶
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest

After first quick view: the tests needs a new needle for these windows:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3421591#step/usr_sbin_smbd/75
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3421591#step/usr_sbin_smbd/76
Furthermore if the mounting fails like here:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3421591#step/usr_sbin_smbd/78
the test code should handle that somehow.

The job group has been replicated at https://openqa.suse.de :
https://openqa.suse.de/tests/12465718
However it is no longer the usr_bin_smbd test which fails, but the apache2_changehat.
I will investigate it further.

Seems like the last 2 tests succeeded again. I will keep an eye on this.

Looks like the issue now is a missing needle:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3687530#step/apache2_changehat/130

- Category changed from Bugs in existing tests to Enhancement to existing tests
- Status changed from In Progress to Resolved
The test has been passing in the last 6-7 days:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/4693830
The correct needles are found.
Will keep an eye on the issue and try to replicate it on osd if it comes back.
