Update host and refresh container images we have in our registry
Added by jlausuch over 1 year ago.
Updated over 1 year ago.
Description
openQA tests are pulling and using some images from our registry instance located in EC2.
These images are pulled from OSD, O3 and Public Cloud providers.
However, no one has much time to maintain that host, it's still Leap 15.3 and some container images are more than 6 months old.
Acceptance criteria¶
- Registry host is updated to something newer (e.g. Leap 15.4 or even 15.5).
- Refresh current images to the latest status, pulling them from docker.io again

As first test, I will update and harden the existing instance. Currently it is still running Leap 15.3 and I will stepwise upgrade it to 15.4.

Instance is updated to Leap 15.4, the docker container is also running the latest registry image and I've setup an automatic update routine every Tuesday at 18:00.
Now I wait for https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/126947 to create a new host and have the setup being deployed by ansible.

Host updated to Leap 15.5 and containers updated as well. The host is configured to update itself on Tuesdays automatically. We still will need to occasionally update the docker images.
I would consider this task as done.
