Displayed needle does not change on selection

Description

I am unable to change displayed needle.
I noticed problem during needle creation, when I am not able to look at needles that did not match (select "Take image from:").
Identical problem is on test page when trying to use select "Candidate needle:".

Confirmed to have the same problem, e.g. in http://lord.arch.suse.de/tests/2339#step/finish_desktop/1
It should show a lot of candidates for "generic_desktop". This is what the job is trying to match on during run but after that, the candidates don't show.

I did not see any error messages from the webUI.

I assume this is some kind of permission problem. I still have this with the current version of openQA on the link I posted above. On some other jobs I don't see this problem.
