Motivation¶

From the Perl workshop the question came up is there a way to make the needle editor areas in green and red display in other colors, for color blind people? We should change that to be color blind friendly according to industry standards, maybe based on personal preferences or patterns instead of colors.

• AC1: Needle editor is color blind friendly

• Research industry standards for color blind modes
• Change the default colors to be color blind friendly, or add a new option to change colors to the Appearance page
