Description

When trying to create new folder with the keys shift+ctrl+n files window pops-up instead of the window that you create a new folder (eg https://openqa.suse.de/tests/10187598#step/usr_sbin_smbd/75)

Investigate if this is a product bug or a test issue (:

small correction: this started failing with build 58.1: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/10087388

Actions #2

Updated by pstivanin over 1 year ago

  • Status changed from New to In Progress
  • Assignee set to pstivanin

this is happening only on s390x.

Testing the fix. This will take time since scheduling on s390 is super slow...

the issue seems to be that 'ctrl-n' is executed instead of 'shift-cltr-n'.
I've tried manually on an s390 host, and everything works fine. Seems to be something openqa related. Will dig into it.

The workaround for s390 is to use needles instead of the kb shortcut: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/10227257, and this fixes the original issue.

The problem is that the test is now failing (for a completely different reason) also on x86_64 and aarch64:

This is definitely a product bug. The issue started with the latest build (64.1), where Samba was upgraded from 4.15 to 4.17. I've opened https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1206626.

This is an autogenerated message for openQA integration by the openqa_review script:

This bug is still referenced in a failing openQA test: apparmor_profile
https://openqa.suse.de/tests/10227274#step/usr_sbin_smbd/1

To prevent further reminder comments one of the following options should be followed:

  1. The test scenario is fixed by applying the bug fix to the tested product or the test is adjusted
  2. The openQA job group is moved to "Released" or "EOL" (End-of-Life)
  3. The bugref in the openQA scenario is removed or replaced, e.g. label:wontfix:boo1234

Expect the next reminder at the earliest in 28 days if nothing changes in this ticket.

SR has been approved, so the issue should be fixed in the next build.

Fix is in latest build (67.1).
