user story

As a SLE product owner I want openQA to test SLE on openstack using openQA to ensure SLE works as expected within cloud environments

acceptance criteria

  • There is at least one scenario running on osd where SLES is used (at least installed) on an openstack (cloud) host

tasks

  • take current backend implementations for "physical machines" as baseline
  • add new backend supporting bootstrapping a SLES installation on a cloud node
  • add a test suite running SLES on the cloud node
  • ensure at least one scenario is running on osd

This has been resolved, not actually using openstack but we have SLE images tested in public cloud.
