observation

https://openqa.suse.de/tests/400551 fails and many previous, too. there is a record soft fail "unable to switch to tty1" although in the video the switch is visible but then the computer is rebooted, it seems.

steps to reproduce

looks like reproducible in the scenario "hacluster-alpha-node1" so clone this one

problem

H1. timing issue of the tty1 needle detection

suggestion

reproduce and closely crosscheck what the SUT is doing in the instance where the switch from gnome desktop to tty1 happens

This is https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=980753, not a bug in the test. When fencing works fine, machine doesn't reboot suddenly and tty1 is detected.
