Hello Fellow Heroes Team,
I have not been as active as I would like to be within heroes due to injury
recovery. In the meantime, I am not able to respond to membership requests
through this email account (which is tied to my openSUSE ID. Can you
enable relay for this email address or advise me on what I need to do?

Hi Bill,
I'm not really sure what you mean, but your email alias is working fine - bill.schouten@opensuse.org is being forwarded to your gmail address.

When I go to reply to an email from membership officials from this account
(IE: approve a member candidate) my email back to them is bounced back to
me.

"bounced" - is it actually rejected, does mailman reject it? You are only subscribed with your proton address, not your gmail nor your opensuse address.

Interesting because the emails come into my gmail account, and that’s what
my oS account is tied to. I do not receive any oS related emails into my
ProtonMail. Did I miss a step somewhere?

I can't say :-)
As far as mailing lists go, for the last 30 days, we have sent a number of mails from project.lists and heroes.lists to renegadext81@gmail.com. No mailing lists mail to your proton nor to your opensuse address.
For the last 90days, we have not received anything for your opensuse.org alias.
When did you last receive any of the mails you are having trouble with? if you still have one of them, maybe attach it (with headers and everything) to this ticket, so I have some idea what we are talking about.

Hello,
I logged in and remove my Protonmail email from my account. In doing so, I
inadvertently un-subbed my renegaedxt@opensuse.org account from the
membership-officials list. How do I add my renegadext@opensuse.org (which
forwards to my gmail) as the allowed send/receive email address to
membership-officials@opensuse.org? I know the openSUSE address is merely a
forwarding address, but I do not know where to go in and allow the Gmail
account it forwards into to be able to relay back. I hope I am explaining
this correctly...

Hi Bill,
you just subscribe to the list with/from that address.
