Description
Observation¶
Hello
current Leap 15.5 vlc test suite has some issues, also it seems overly too complex compared to Tumbleweed. Could we please re-use what we have in TW?
openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-kde-wayland@64bit_virtio fails in
vlc
Test suite description¶
Basic KDE installation, but switches to a Wayland session on login. Needs Virtio (or similiar) GPU.
Reproducible¶
Fails since (at least) Build 20220929 (current job)
Expected result¶
Last good: 20220928 (or more recent)
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest

Just checked the result history of opensuse-15.5-DVD-x86_64-Build311.1-kde-wayland@64bit_virtio-2G https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/2808792#next_previous
- Didn't find vlc failed in recent test runs.
- The Leap 15.5 and TW share the same vlc test from the code and test runs:
> vlc code: https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/blob/master/tests/x11/vlc.pm
> opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Build20220929-kde-wayland@64bit_virtio https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/2765928
> opensuse-15.5-DVD-x86_64-Build311.1-kde-wayland@64bit_virtio-2G https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/2808792#
So, I don't know what we can do to enahance/ simply vlc test suite.
@lkocman Please feel free to correct me if my understanding is wrong.

Hello if the test passes then there is no need to. This was from the time when VLC was failing quite often. Thank you
