this one might be obsolete with the new page by Richard. So new tools are probably needed for the new site https://software.opensuse.org/newsite/

Richard's new page is currently using Jekyll we should encourage him to redevelop it using the standard openSUSE web platforms used everywhere else so It doesn't need its own special tools, that will also make it fit visually better with the rest of the openSUSE websites, either way I shall discuss that with him.

The visual look of things is about to change. There is also no agreement on tools and programming languages unfortunately. At least jekyll seems to be in Factory meanwhile.

Henne ported Richard's changes to the rails app:
https://github.com/openSUSE/software-o-o/pull/126

I've merged Ancor's pull request to integrate po and pot files. So software.o.o is ready for weblate.
