Observation¶

When keeping an openQA job details page open since the job was "scheduled" or "running" on the details page when moving between thumbnails with the keyboard shortcuts "left" or "right" the cursor jumps two thumbnails on each keypress instead of one each. For a glimpse one can see that the unfolded thumbnail preview of the thumbnail in the middle is shown before the cursor jumps to the next (second) thumbnail showing that unfolded content preview.

Steps to reproduce¶

• Open an openQA job in "scheduled" or "running" state in a browser tab and keep it open until job details are shown (already when job is still "running")
• Select a screenshot in thumbnails
• Press "Right" key on keyboard to observe the display jump two thumbnails at a time

Problem¶

Likely the same handler in javascript is registered twice when the page stays open over a job's state change

Workaround¶

• Reload the page, e.g. by pressing browser hotkey "F5"
