closedroot@download.opensuse.org - running daily cronjob scripts

Description
On anna, I noticed a number of mails queued, from root@download.opensuse.org
to root@download.opensuse.org
- trying to deliver them to download obviously keeps failing and eventually they are discarded.
Content:
Subject: cronjob@pontifex2 - daily - FAILURE
From: root@download.opensuse.org
To: root@download.opensuse.org

running daily cronjob scripts
SCRIPT: git-pull-srv-www-local-download exited with RETURNCODE = 1.
SCRIPT: output (stdout && stderr) follows
fatal: remote error:
The unauthenticated git protocol on port 9418 is no longer supported.
Please see https://github.blog/2021-09-01-improving-git-protocol-security-github/ for more information.
SCRIPT: git-pull-srv-www-local-download
Judging by the mails queued, the job runs every day at 1930 UTC. It sounds to me like a cronjob that just needs MAILTO=admin-auto@opensuse.org
added.

- Private changed from Yes to No
# l /etc/cron.daily/
total 20
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Mar 15 11:35 ./
drwxr-xr-x 108 root root 12288 May 16 20:28 ../
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 49 Nov 5 2018 git-pull-srv-www-local-download*
All that script does is:
cd /srv/www-local/download
git pull

pontifex: /etc/aliases does alias "root" to "admin-auto@o.o", and that seems to generally work fine, except for this case.
The git problem appears to happen once on 10 February, and then every day starting on 15 March.

As a work-around, I have added a virtual alias on anna, to redirect 'root@download.opensuse.org' to admin-auto.
