Description

Motivation

We want to maintain MTUI http://gitlab.suse.de/maintenance/mtui and https://gitlab.suse.de/qa-maintenance/qam-oscplugin for the foreseeable future until contributing is so easy for any user that they fix their own problems :) For this we should make sure to have properly maintained and open source mtui+oscqam projects.

Ideas

This is what I plan to do:

  • Conduct workshops with the UV squad to best understand their requirements, help them fix their own problems themselves if it's more efficient for them
  • Propose squad rotations to help UV squad
  • Drive open sourcing MTUI (same as we managed for qem-bot and qem-dashboard)
  • Same for oscqam
  • Add tests
  • Add contribution hints
  • Make it easier to collaborate (for us, for them, for anyone)
