## Observation
Right now https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests shows multiple jobs "running" with a grey icon and apparently stuck. For example https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/2940351#live shows as running but as already cloned as 2942915. Clicking on cancel does not have an effect.
## Acceptance criteria
- **AC1**: No more jobs getting stuck in state "running"
- **AC2**: Jobs can always be cancelled
## Suggestions
* Look into deadlock issues to see if they are responsible #121777
