## Motivation Back in [October 2021](http://mailman.suse.de/mlarch/SuSE/openqa/2021/openqa.2021.10/msg00010.html) Sofia brought up the conversation about moving the Job groups of o3 into GitHub. Moving towards using git to track our changes, takes us one step closer to having a bit more control and a clear picture of what's happening around, as Test Engineers, Release Managers, and in general even to external contributors who wish to collaborate one way or the other. After speaking with Lubos and Dimstar and not getting any objections from them nor from other Product Owners (back in Dec, the only request was to not do the change during holiday season), so everybody knows that this will be happening we can move forward with the idea, and continue Sofia's work. https://mailman.suse.de/mailman/private/qe-core/2021-November/000056.html The repository has been created at https://github.com/os-autoinst/opensuse-jobgroups and likely needs an update, is up to the team to do all step by step or all at once, using a self deployed instance as a testing area before doing any permanent changes.
