This seems to have started yesterday at 1600 UTC, approx. The first evidence in the log is from 16:03:11. On 'anna', there are currently 3147 mails queued, of which 153 due to 'Helo command rejected'. Strict helo checking is probably not so common, I see only 21 unique hosts.
I think it might be sensible to use '{anna,elsa}.opensuse.org' for the time being,

I have changed myhostname on both anna and elsa to 'anna.opensuse.org' and 'elsa.opensuse.org', respectively.
Yes, both of those resolve nicely :-) Mails are now slowly being delivered to those hosts.
