Description

Motivation

See messages on discord 2021-07-27 and following. My answer there:

it's certainly possible to use openQA to focus on app testing, not just "OS testing". Even openQA itself is tested within openQA itself :) see https://openqa.opensuse.org/group_overview/24 . The approach that Ludwig showed is valid even though stuff looks different :) it uses https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-example so you can use that as starting point for your tests as well

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: A use case mentioning os-autoinst-distri-example is explained in the beginner's guide of openQA
