It appears that dnsmasq has stopped/crashed ...

# grep dnsmas /var/log/messages
2021-04-22T11:56:16.612090+02:00 forum dnsmasq[1083]: exiting on receipt of SIGTERM

For the time being, I have just re-instated the infra name-servers, I don't know why we are running this dnsmasq setup here?

I suspect the above was due to :

for service in $(zypper ps --print %s); do echo "restarting $service"; systemctl restart $service.service ;done

I'll revert my /etc/resolv.conf changes. Still wondering why we have a dnsmasq setup here. Doesn't nscd cache lookups already?

It was really just a DNS issue.
