Description
I'm logging this so we won't forget - currently, the mailman archives are not indexed. I have been unable to complete a full indexing run, it keeps getting cancelled by the oom killer. Even when I ran it in a cgroup with maxmem 2Gb :-)
In theory the archive update should happen once an hour, I guess that is not happening unless we have a base to start with.
I really do not understand why xapian should be using so much memory - in addition it is incredibly slow. We only have about 3million mails to index, sofar every attempt has finished after 25-26 hours.
