Description

Hi,
I am of course subscribed to opensuse-project mailing list but for some reason, since the address I use behind my sogal@opensuse.com has changed in favor of my Gmail one (spascalpoher@gmail.com), every mail I send to this list is rejected with the following message:

The message from sogal@opensuse.org with subject "Re: [opensuse-project]
Material to promote openSUSE?" was unable to be delivered to the list
because of an access rule set up by the list administrator.

Sorry to bother you with that, can you check what is going wrong ?
Thanks.

  • Tracker changed from communication to tickets
  • Status changed from New to Closed
  • % Done changed from 0 to 100
  • Private changed from Yes to No

You are almost certainly sending mails with HTML formatting, which we don't permit. Just resend in plain text and they will go through.
FYI, for mailing list issues, it is usually best to contact the list owner at the dedicated address "list+owner@o.o".

You are right, Gmail on Android does not have an option to send email in plain text and does not care about what I have set through the web interface. I am very disappointed about Gmail and I should not have change my @opensuse.org cloak pointer in favor of it.
Thank you, and thanks as well for the information about writing directly to the list owner. Sorry for the noise here.
