The baremetal worker "tails" has severe issues with BMC/IPMI. Besides unstable ipmi sol connection, the following happens from time to time, resulting in machine shutdown:

I've filled out the attached RMA form for delta and mailed it to them as described on their homepage.
I'm now waiting on feedback or further questions from them.

We got some advice on how to update the bmc once again. However it did not change the behavior so we sent the machine back yesterday. Waiting for the vendor (DELTA) now.
