h1. Options

h2. Dialog

Tried approach using dialog, but dialog is ugly and doesn't work properly inside initrd due to redirection and missing libraries. Both could be fixed, but look and feel will stay.

h2. Plymouth

Plymouth provides possibility to interact with user. But it needs supported graphic card, plymouth running and is not easy to get into and debug/simulate

h2. Syslinux

Looks like most feasible approach so far. During boot we can detect all available images and update list for next boot and at the same time provide target that would refresh syslinux menu and reboot back to let user choose something else. Hacky, but quite easy and themeable.
