Yesterday I forced updates to the Hyper-V host (was not getting post-Meltdown updates because... Microsoft refuses to install them where antivirus software is missing [sic]). Also after restart the Hyper-V host decided that for the way we authenticate to Hyper-V, password is expired...

Also downgraded FreeRDP to 2.0.0 RC1 (Factory current).

Restarted all Hyper-V jobs in openQA, should be fine by now.

Well there are multiple problems:

  1. FreeRDP was broken - fixed now.
  2. With latest updates the security setup changed for Remote Connection on the host - https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/4646
  3. Hyper-V host is unable to reach R&D network (again) - https://infra.nue.suse.com/SelfService/Display.html?id=109209

Turns out that /sec:tls is required only for the host it self not the VMs, so closing https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/4646.

Infra ticket is now resolved as well.

Systems look to be operation again:
