Description
Observation¶
openQA test in scenario sle-15-Installer-DVD-x86_64-gnome_smb@64bit
bootloader
does not show that it would switch the install source which it should.
Acceptance criteria¶
- AC1: Installation is conducted over SMB as install source
Tasks¶
- check if it works when just setting parameter "NETBOOT=1" -> follow https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1405854
- crosscheck openSUSE
Further details¶
Always latest result in this scenario: latest

- Blocked by action #29393: [sle][functional][tools] test fails in bootloader_s390 - check settings of samba server on o.s.d added
Updated by okurz about 7 years ago
https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1405880#step/bootloader/15 shows it working now. So the problem was the missing NETBOOT=1
variable which I added now in the test suite as well as the samba server being gone (see related ticket). https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1405854#step/welcome/4 is a failure that shows that actually the SMB server is probed.
openSUSE does not have SMB, see #15136

- Status changed from Blocked to Resolved
SLE test does use SMB again properly. The openSUSE part is left to be done in #15136
