Hm. Even looking in the video frame-wise does not really show the grub menu. II assume the problem here can only be fixed properly by doing what we do now by default within the installer: Disable the grub timeout. Here that could be done within the qcow image sle-12-SP3-Server-DVD-aarch64-allpatterns.qcow2 . I see two alternatives: Just accept the sporadic failure and restart manually. Or adjust the test code to silently also accept when the grub menu was missed but the right screen still shows up in the end, e.g. displaymanager.

Actually grub menu was shown at booting(video was not recorded by every frame), but timeout was set to only 3 sec by boot manager which is too fast to assert (not sure, but sometimes I can see that in video).
Since my arm worker has gone due to expiration on orthos so I prefer to disable grub timeout by re-generating the image and it is already done:
https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1249782

Re-trigger job looks fine now:
https://openqa.suse.de/tests/1249952#step/boot_to_desktop_sym/21

Set to feedback and test it with new image on more builds.
