Description

Motivation

  • Machines in our infrastructure should run the latest version of kernel package and get regular kernel security updates
  • Upgrading power8 workers - kerosene.qe.nue2.suse.org and qa-power8-3.openqanet.opensuse.org encountered some issues, refer #157972 and #169939

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: zypper ll should not list any kernel package lock
  • AC1: Workers should be stable - no kernel crash or openQA job disruptions
