Description
Motivation¶
From https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/factory@lists.opensuse.org/thread/MTU32KCXVRSKMA3KD5BKMTCDLW5QNTP5/ "Devel project migrations happening soon"
The Git project has been in development for some time […] This is where this devel project migration comes in. It's vital for
SLE16 success. This will also be the most "messy" part of the process,
where we have least tested infrastructure and least availability of
finished tooling.
For information of what is happening, etc. please see,
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:OBS_to_Git
We should be prepared and at least setup our accounts so that we can interact with src.opensuse.org
Acceptance criteria¶
- AC1: Multiple members from the team have setup their account on src.opensuse.org for contributions
Suggestions¶
- From https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/factory@lists.opensuse.org/message/M57EK26SS3VUWOIMAN26FET5EBLRSHS3/ Go to https://src.opensuse.org, login (OBS/bugzilla account) to create an account, click on Settings (under your profile) and the SSH/GPG keys and add your SSH key so you can work on the repositories. At best also add your GPG key there as well.
- Help others in the team to do that as well
- Do a little overview for others to show how it works e.g. workshop topic or Slack
- Add necessary steps to the onboarding list if something needs to be setup in the account

Hi guys, I picked up https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/177907 which I just created for getting ready for the obs scm to git migration. One simple thing everyone in the team can do to prepare your accounts is to go to https://src.opensuse.org, login (OBS/bugzilla account) to create an account, click on Settings (under your profile) and the SSH/GPG keys and add your SSH key so you can work on the repositories. At best also add your GPG key there as well. Let me know when you did that or hit problems doing so

I added my ssh key and gpg key and verified both using the instructions on https://src.opensuse.org/user/settings which was straightforward.
