With the help of robert.richardson we checked the machine. I wrote in the SD ticket

I physically checked the machine and found no problems in operation. The two redundant PSUs are fully operational. I could reach the BIOS of the machine as well as boot the currently installed testing snapshot of SLE 15 SP7. Also I could interface with the machine without problems using IPMI at least during the time of my experiment.
I updated racktables to include the relevant information for the machine including new pictures and the current status.
I assume the error messages are false alerts. Maybe the false alerts about the faulty power supply are a result of an incompatible firmware update and that should be reverted if the firmware update was already applied by Roy Cai at all. Regarding the “GIC Err 0” errors I recommend to also accept them as false alerts and nothing that can be avoided. For any problems of “SOL black screen” I recommend to handle them outside the scope of this ticket. I will provide an answer in https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/153111 to follow-up there.
Roy Cai if you have not applied a BMC and/or BIOS update feel welcome to do that and please respond back with any conclusion about that, over to you.
