Description
Trying to run an update on one of the openSUSE Leap 42.2 machines, I get:

# | Alias | Name | Enabled | GPG Check | Refresh | URI
--+-------------------------+-------------------------+---------+-----------+---------+--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 | openSUSE:infrastructure | openSUSE:infrastructure | Yes | ( ) No | Yes | http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/infrastructure/openSUSE_Leap_42.2
2 | repo-oss | repo-oss | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.2/repo/oss
3 | repo-update-oss | repo-update-oss | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/42.2/oss
First question: why is it outdated?
2nd question: why is "GPG Check" disabled for this repository?
3rd question: why is refresh enabled for the static repo-oss repository, which - by intention - should not change any more?
Updated by tampakrap about 7 years ago
- Status changed from New to Closed
- Private changed from Yes to No
1) this is the message printed by OBS when the repository is empty. Fixed by enabling build for an arbitrary package
2) see https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/16560
3) to ensure that the repo will be updated after initial deployments or before distro upgrades. I am open to (automated) suggestions to improve the situation though
