Description

Dear openSUSE Admin Team,

On openSUSE's Cachet website https://status.opensuse.org/ notifications
seem stuck.

the Developer resources -> Metrics of download.opensuse.org and
Monitoring shows partial outage however the "Past incidents page" shows
that the problems were fixed.

The email notification of incidents does not work either, even though I
have been subscribed to it for a long time and it used to work fine.

Would you be so kind and fix this?

Thank you for your help in advance!

Cheers,
Peter

Hi,

I recently checked with the maintainer of metrics.o.o and they confirmed that the status is still correct.
There is no maintenance entry for the metrics.o.o issue, hence no corresponding entry in "Past Incidents" either.

We recently repaired email delivery from the machine (1-2 months ago), I assume you were missing notifications from before that point?
I just sent you a test email and it was delivered without any issues.

Best,
Georg

Dear Georg,

Yes, I have received the letter you sent me now, but automatic
notifications of errors are not sent out by the system.

The last notification I had about issues was on 2023. 10. 31. 1:09

A COMPONENT'S STATUS WAS UPDATED!

News status changed from Partial Outage to Operational.

Thanks,
openSUSE Status

And after that nothing...

For example download.o.o had multiple outages in the last 1-2 moths and
no notification e-mail has arrived about these issues. (checked spam
folder etc.)

Cheers,

Peter

Dear Georg,

I think the problem is solved.

After re-subscribing to the notifications on the status.opensuse.org page, the notification options appeared and for some reason I was not not automatically subscribed to the Prague database, metrics and monitoring notifications.

I think You can close the ticket. Thanks for your help!

By the way I had to re-register my username at progress.opensuse.org to provide this feedback because some funny guy somehow deleted it...

Cheers,
Peter
