Description

Motivation

At the moment we display the following data in our experimental Grafana dashboard:

  • Number of workable action tickets (measured all 4 hours)
  • Number of in progress action tickets (measured all 4 hours)
  • Number of resolved tickets (one measurement per day)
  • Number of any open ticket created in the last 24 hours (measured all 4 hours)

ToDo

Suggest more metrics that might be useful for the daily work in our QE Yam squad. Think about the following question:
What would make the life of a team member, the PO or the Scrum master more comfortable, if those metrics would exist?

Scope

This ticket is about measurements that we could obtain using backlogger.
Keep in mind that backlogger.py relies on saved queries in progress.opensuse.org and is just "bean counting" the number of tickets that such a saved query will show.
All queries used by backlogger and then sent to InfluxDB are definded on the GitHub repo of qe-yam-backlog-assistant.

Accpetance Criteria

  • AC1: Either new metrics have been found or we're satisfied with what we have.
