Description

For test case development and improvement would be nice to have a snapshot functionality at some point.

We have the problem that on developing test cases we have to repeat the run of open QA many times. It is very time consuming to wait until the openqa get to that point we would like to test.

The solution would be to save at some masker the run of the opneqa run, to be able to rollback to that point.
Like we do have on virt-manager or on vmware.

This Feature would really help us and would speed up the time to develop test cases for qopenqa.

asemen,

This feature is actually available, you can take a look at the openQA documentation on the WritingTests.asciidoc, you should be able to get through with it.

Ok I see.
But we would like to have also a pointer inside a test module to be faster on development of test cases.
Could this be implement in same way like on the test modules?
Would be very nice to something like this implemented.

If you mean by having breakpoints within a test module, you can take a look at 'Proper Interactive Mode' and see if that's what you're talking about... but i don't see that happening very soon.

If the POO issue is not what you're looking for, you can write a user story and we can discuss about it. Meanwhile, i'm changing this one to rejected.
