(Martin Loviska) Hey @Oliver Kurz, is anyone available in the Nue Office that can check whether unreal6 is up? I cannot reach it after reboot > > (Oliver Kurz) hm.
ping unreal6-sp.qe.nue2.suse.org

From 81.95.8.245 (81.95.8.245) icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable
but unreal5-sp works as well as unreal7-sp so I will check the cables to unreal6 but only able to do so next Thursday or so myself unless somebody else is there earlier.

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: unreal6 is reachable over SP+system ethernet again

Acceptance tests

  • AT1-1: ping -c1 unreal6-sp.qe.nue2.suse.org

Suggestions

  • Replace cable connected to SP of unreal6 and check connection
  • If not successful get cable adapter from cabinet and check with local ipmitool invocation

unreal6-sp.qe.nue2.suse.org is reachable again. I am not exactly sure what the problem was. I checked the cable and it was showing connection but I could only ping the SP after I connected an adapter locally.
