Description
Hello
I’ve been updating some of the SDB wiki pages, but I notice that there are many that are years old (and/or no longer applicable), and are IMO best removed. I know it is possible to create/edit pages, but how do we get stale topics removed?
https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Support_database
It looks like attempts to tidy the SDB up stalled some time back…

I wrote to web@lists.opensuse.orgmailto:web@lists.opensuse.org but received an automated reply
"Your message to the openSUSE Web mailing-list was rejected for the following
reasons:
The message is not from a list member"
I'm happy to help here, but not sure how to proceed.
Regards
Dean

Hi,
I think they should be moved underneath "Archive:" and references to them removed. What do you think?
I recently found some of these stale pages as well, not just under SDB, but could not figure out how to do it properly, as the "Move page" option did not allow me to preserve the hierarchy (for example to move "Foo:Bar" to "Archive:Foo:Bar" instead of "Archive:Bar").
Maybe @cboltz knows how to deal with it correctly? :-)

Right, moving them to "Archive:" is usually the way to go.
In rare cases where deleting a page is really the better idea, add the {{Delete|$reason for deletion}}
template, and someone (probably me) will have a look.

Hmm, keeping the hierarchy should be possible - at least we have pages like https://en.opensuse.org/Archive:Portal:Weekly_news ;-)

web@lists.o.o is a mailinglist, you'll have to subscribe first. However, the list rarely sees mails, so while it officially exists, it's close to being dead.
