  (Oliver Kurz) @Heiko Rommel for example there is galileo listing you as contact person. racktables mentions the machine the first time in 2016-02-17. The comment about the machine's "current" use is obviously outdated. What would you say should be the fate of this machine?
  (Martin Pluskal) currently our ppc machine (whale.qam.suse.de uses galileo.qam.suse.de for guest installatio via PXE/bootp) if there is alternative we would not need galileo
  (Oliver Kurz) so what I get is that currently galileo is currently used and it's old.
  (Martin Pluskal) its used, but if there is alternative (I guess we are not only ones who need custom PXE) there might be replacement which we (UV) are not aware of
  (Oliver Kurz) A good alternative are VMs provided by Eng-Infra for DHCP/DNS and optionally PXE. A PXE server should already exist within the .qe.suse.de domain but I never tested it as I don't have direct access to any machine within that domain yet. If that works then we could ask Eng-Infra to migrate whale to .qe.suse.de or we do that as part of a physical move.

• okurz suggests to just ship the machine to FC Basement and repurpose and for any need of DHCP/DNS in any datacenter use the Eng-Infra provided solutions managed in https://gitlab.suse.de/OPS-Service/salt/

• If we want to continue using the machine as is, it's running SLES 11 SP4 so probably needs to be updated first
